Campfire 1-on-1 Coaching

Important Update for Current Students

Transition deadline: April 15Ā

Please read through this page first. At the bottom, you’ll find a short form where you can let me know how you’d like to move forward.

A Quick Personal + Business Update

Many of you may know that my wife and I are expecting a baby in mid-June. We’re incredibly excited to welcome a little Fishler into the world! I’ll likely be taking about one month off starting around mid-June when the baby arrives. For my in-person students, I’m also exploring a few nearby professional teaching spaces so lessons remain quiet and comfortable. I’ll share more details with you directly if that applies to you.

At the same time, over the past year I’ve been developing a few new programs, including Campfire Guitarist Foundations and Campfire Guitarist 1-on-1 Coaching.

Going forward, I’m encouraging my private students to transition to the Campfire Guitarist 1-on-1 Coaching program.

The rest of this page will walk through the details of thisĀ transition to the new Campfire 1 on 1 format.

Why I’m Making This Change

Over time, I’ve realized that the biggest breakthroughs happen when students have:

  • clear goals
  • a defined timeline
  • measurable progress
  • support between sessions
  • a more organized place for lessons and resources

The new 6-month coaching model allows us to:

  • Set specific goals at the beginning of eachĀ semester
  • Track measurable progress throughout
  • Stay focused instead of drifting week to week
  • Finish each semester with a clear milestone

It also allows me to run a more organized and sustainable business as my family grows.

What’s Changing

Beginning this spring, all private students who wish to continue after April 15 will move into a structured 6-month coaching format.

This means:

  • Lessons move into 6-month ā€œsemesterā€ cycles
  • We will work together to set goalsĀ at the start of each cycle so I can make sure you get the most out of our time
  • Pricing will increase slightly
  • We will move onto a new platform called Kajabi
All notes, videos, scheduling, and communication will live in one place

If you decide not to continue in the new format, you will still have options, which are explained below.

What You’ll Get in Campfire 1-on-1 Coaching

Each 6-month semester includes:

āœ”ļøWeekly Private Lessons

You can continue with either:

  • 45-minute lessons

  • 60-minute lessons

āœ”ļøKickoff Goal Setting Session

At the beginning of the semester, we’ll define what you want to work toward so your lessons have a clear direction.

āœ”ļøA Structured Learning Plan

Instead of just taking things week by week, your lessons will follow a more intentional progression tied to your goals.

āœ”ļøProgress Check-Ins

We’ll track improvement over time so you can clearly see how your playing is developing.

āœ”ļøEnd-of-Semester Song Challenge

I will encourage you toĀ record video of you playing 1–2 songs start to finish, which you can do alone or with me. Think of it as a milestone to track your progress; something you can look back on or share with family and friends. :) This isn't a hard requirement, but students who have taken me up on it have felt great pride in getting to this point in their playing.

āœ”ļøA More Organized Student Experience

I will be retiring Notion and Acuity Scheduling. My new platform KajabiĀ will be a one stop shopĀ for your learning experience (read more below).

āœ”ļøCommunity Access*Ā

You have the option toĀ join my private online guitar community to:

  • ask questions
  • share progress
  • get feedbacks
  • encourage others in their journey

*All students in the community are adults and are asked to abide by community guidelinesĀ aroundĀ privacy and respect.Ā

Moving to Kajabi

I’ll be moving students onto a new platform called Kajabi.

Kajabi will become the main place where your coaching experience lives.Ā

  • Access lesson notes easily
  • Watch lesson videos
  • Download PDFs
  • View upcoming and past sessions
  • Adjust scheduling
  • Access to my private guitar community where you can ask meĀ questions and connect with other guitarists in the journey. You can also just message me directly through the platform if you prefer not to joint he community.Ā

The goal is to make everything easier to find, easier to use, and more organized overall.

Important Note About Notion

I’ll also be retiring Notion as part of this transition. If there is anything you want to keep from your Notion materials, please make sure to download it before June 1. If you need help downloading anything, feel free to reach out.

Remaining Lesson Credits

If you have unused lesson credits remaining, you will have options.

If you want to continue

Your remaining credits can be applied toward your transition into the new program. I’ll calculate the dollar value of your unused credits and apply that amount toward your enrollment.
For example: If you have $240 worth of lesson credits remaining, you will receive a $240 credit applied to your enrollment.

If you do not want to continue

You may choose to:
